In recognition of World Autism Awareness Week (Monday 27th March – Sunday 2nd April), Mentaur was delighted to welcome a number of local organisations last week for a special Autism Awareness training session, delivered by our Group Operations Manager and Autism Lead, Herculano Castro.
Rhiannon Mistry was delighted to attend on behalf of Hawsons Chartered Accountants, based in Northampton. She said, “My colleague and I attended the training session, and we both found it very interesting and enlightening. It certainly did the job in raising awareness of autism and we’ll be discussing what we’ve learnt with our colleagues back in the office.”
Mentaur was also joined by Chris Houghton from Aztech IT, based in Milton Keynes. Chris said, “Herculano delivered the session brilliantly and cleared up some common misconceptions of autism. I definitely came away with a better and more positive understanding of ASD.”
