Mentaur CEO Isabel Santos Melo wins "Business Person of the Year" Award

We are proud and delighted to announce that our CEO Isabel Santos Melo has been named “Business Person of the Year” at the 2015 Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards.
The Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards celebrated their 25th anniversary this year, and the awards gala event in December was the biggest ever yet!
These awards were first established to celebrate the diversity of business within Northamptonshire and to recognise those key individuals responsible for making businesses in Northamptonshire a success. “The Business Person of the Year” award recognises managing directors and CEO’s who have achieved significant success within their organisations for their dynamism, strong leadership skills and business acumen. Isabel was presented with both a certificate and trophy of recognition, and a bottle of champagne to drown her team with!
When news reached her of the conferring of this tremendous honour, Isabel was naturally overwhelmed and said: “Quite honestly I was not expecting to win, and I am incredibly privileged to be recognised as the “Business Person of the Year” by the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards. However, this award is as much a recognition of the tireless efforts of the entire team at Mentaur in providing path-breaking solutions for people with disabilities. My colleagues at Mentaur have supported me every step of the way and their hard work and creativity has been a key player in our success, making us the successful and growing business that we are today. For myself, my commitment to the care sector and remains undiluted. Mentaur will continue to grow, offering specialist and personalised care services to more people than ever before. I look forward to seeing what more we will achieve in the years ahead!”
